God wants to be king in our lives. We must not compromise but keep faith in him. He will show himself powerful through us.

God is our shepherd. He wants us to know his will but this requires us to follow him.

John 15:1 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit."

Romans 1:15-16 "So I am eager to preach the gospel to you also who are in Rome. For I am not ashamed of the gospel..."

Acts 5:41 "Then they left the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer dishonor for the name."

Hebrews 6:1 Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God."
