So let no one boast in men. For all things are yours, whether Paul of Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future - all are yours, and you are Christ's and Christ is God's."

7:1 In the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, son of Uzziah, king of Judah, Rezin the king of Syria and Pekah the son of Remaliah the king of Israel came up to Jerusalem to wage war against it, but could not yet mount an attack against it.

The Lord said to Abraham in Genesis 12:1-2 “Now the LORD said to Abram, "Go from your country and your kindred and your father's house to the land that I will show you. And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing (ESV).”
